Lately…
A lot has happened in the past few months…highly recommended skimming this blog post to catch up.
I’ve been studying and testing for the past three months as I start my new career in the financial field and I’m the kind of person who is 100% wrapped up in what is important in the moment. Lately I haven’t wanted to practice my piano, learn any new songs, blog, take outfit pictures, create any content, or even just scroll on Instagram. My apartment hasn’t even stayed clean for months because I have been so laser focused on passing the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63, and adjusting to my new job.
BUT now it’s the holiday season and I am so excited to get back into my hobbies of content creation and blog posts, and learning more piano songs! My boyfriend has even been begging me to come out with more YouTube videos so I may do that!
I’ve drafted a ton of posts over the past few months and wanted to give you a spoiler alert for what’s coming:
• My favorite work pants for the office
• Christmas gift guides to come out around Black Friday when I do all my Christmas shopping
• Finally posting my Switzerland travel guide from our 2 weeks traveling the country in June! (SUPER excited about this one- it’s going to be jam packed with videos, pictures, and all we did and ate!)
• Holiday decorations, including how I get all my high quality Christmas decorations for SUPER cheap
• Lifestyle tips- balancing a full time career with fitness, financial goals, hobbies, a social life, and eating healthy!
• More Instagram content: On the mornings when I’m not literally running out of my door and down my apartment hallway to make it to work on time, I snap a photo of my office outfit to give some inspiration for workwear. Also trying to roll out some Instagram TV.
I am so thankful for all the opportunities I’ve been blessed with this past year. I cannot wait to finally have my evenings and weekends back to myself to fulfill the other outlets I depend on to feel like my best self; piano, fitness, and blogging have literally saved my mental health in the past few years.
Can’t wait to continue to share pieces of my life with you all! And don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss any of my new content!
xoxo, jess
