Productivity Tip of the Week
Not to brag but I’ve been killing it this past week because I have been using my Habit Tracker app in the app store. Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like:
Download the app “Habit Tracker”
I love that every habit is completely customizable and you can choose how many days a week you want to complete the habit, and when you want the app to remind you, if at all. It is so fun to complete all the habits because it gives you a celebratory message with confetti at the end, and provides a nice little reward to look forward to! Just knowing that I want to keep the streak alive is all I need to keep it up.
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
Don’t break the chain. If you have a habit you want to keep up with, just remember every single day you can add another link to the chain. It doesn’t have to be a perfect, 100% effort every day, but just don’t break the chain. I used to say I wanted to work on my YouTube videos for 45 minutes each day. It didn’t seem like 45 minutes would be that big of a deal, and “if it really is important I’ll find a way to get it done!”. Well, guess who got so behind she missed 3 uploads in a row? This girl. I recently changed my habit to only 15 minutes a day. And so far, I haven’t missed a day. And, ironically, each day I commit to just 15 minutes, I end up spending at least 45 minutes on it! Just knowing that I only need to commit 15 minutes makes me more likely to start because it’s not such a huge commitment.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
I bought a top from Target on a whim this week and I loved it so much that the next day I wore it to Target to buy more for myself and one for my mom! I have the off white color, olive green, and black and I got an XS which is still plenty oversized. It’s the softest top and it’s so lightweight but actually warm! Only $15 and held up great in the wash. I’ve also purchased multiple colors in both of these Free People tops because I have been layering them under tops and cardigans to wear all day and work out in! I love them because they are so compressive and thick that I don’t need a bra with them which is just a bonus!

Books I’m Loving
I’m back to finishing Atomic Habits, but I’ve been focused on reviewing the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility because it’s the complete guide to Fertility Awareness Method and charting, which is what I am now doing!
Anything Else I have to tell you!
My sweet Paw-Paw Steve passed away last week. I had a really, really rough time with it because (thankfully) this is the only family death I have had to face as an adult. On top of that, my husband was traveling and was in another time zone for 5 days; we haven’t been apart for even one night since our wedding in October 2020. My mom was with my grandmother while he passed, and I got to say goodbye to him on the phone one last time. I am just so thankful for so much- I’m so grateful for my entire family because we really are the sh!t and we have such a strong bond. I am thankful that I fostered my relationship with my Paw-Paw and Grandmother while I was in college- I went to school only 45 minutes from them and spent a few nights with them instead of my friends- even took my boyfriend (now husband) to their house for a date night because I knew that would be important. I’m thankful that my family is blessed and healthy and that I got to say goodbye to him over the phone. So many people don’t get that chance to prepare and say bye and it was such a gift. I’m grateful for my husband and my parents and my job that allows me to work from home while watching my mom’s dogs in a robe and grieving, and for allowing me to take the time to process my emotions.
There is so so so much to be grateful for and in this time of grief and emotions, I focus on how incredibly grateful and blessed I am each and every day. Every day is truly a gift.
