Weekly Happenings- December 15

Welcome to week two of my 4 part goal setting series!

Productivity Tip of the Week

STEP TWO: BROAD GOALS

Now that you’ve spent last week really visualizing your dream life and where you want to be, this week is the time to focus on a few broad goals to set.  I suggest beginning with an open mind and just start writing down what goals will help you get where you want to be.  Set your goals high and reach for the stars, but make them attainable.

“Most people overestimate what they can achieve in one year and underestimate what they can achieve in 5 years”.

I would start with 3-4 broad goals that you want to achieve by December 31, 2022.  After you have these broad goals on paper, break each goal into 4 more quarterly goals.

Here’s a really easy example:

Broad goal:  I want to lose 40 pounds by December 31, 2022.

Quarterly goal: I want to lose 10 pounds by March 31, 2022, 20 pounds by June 30th, 30 pounds by September 30, and a total of 40 pounds by December 31st.

Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week

For me personally, this week has felt like I’m dragging through the sand.  What keeps me going on weeks like this is my Habit tracker app, and just making myself get up and get things done that I need to get done.

Sometimes, that’s all the motivation I have, and that’s all I can dish out to you! Just get it done and get it done with a grateful smile on your face.

Outfit Favorites of the Week

This week I’ve been living in these new Marshmallow pants from Aerie and -WOW- they are just like Barefoot Dreams! Aerie totally nailed it with these.  My mom and I both got a pair and have been LIVING in them for the past week!

Anything Else I have to tell you!

I got a new planner for 2022- this one is my favorite so far and I usually buy 2 planners a year. LInking below!

Update on that IPL device I mentioned in last week’s post- I’m LOVING IT! I swear I’m already seeing patches of hair not grow back and it’s only been 3 uses total! Linking it here again for you:
