Welcome to week one of my 4 part goal setting series!
Productivity Tip of the Week
It’s December which means GOAL SETTING! I have such a passion for goal setting and manifesting and working towards the life I’ve dreamt of since I was a child.
December is not a time for being a lazy sloth. It’s the time to plan for the year ahead, count your blessings, and evaluate the prior year. It’s a time to really focus all of your energy on where you want to be this time next year.
I have had a passion for New Year's resolutions for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved the inspiring feeling of a brand new year and a “start”. But something I’ve learned the hard way is that my goals often are completely unrealistic to live out for an entire year, and I end up giving up halfway through and then feeling like crap about it in December.
Last year I released this video all about how to make goals that you will actually achieve and I highly recommend you watch it because 2021 taught me that it WORKS:
I did make a few tweaks, though, especially through quitting the hormonal birth control pill recently and learning about the female hormones and how freaking amazing we are, but how we have to be intuitive with our bodies and our productivity levels which will ebb and flow. That’s how I created this 4 step series! So, let’s get in to it!
STEP ONE: Visualize and Imagine
First step, please purchase and read the book Atomic Habits. If you have already read it, read it again! Make it a goal to finish the book by the new year. A lot of my success in this fourth quarter of 2021 has been because of this book!
Visualizing and imaging is the most fun part of this process. I want you to spend this entire week focusing on just one thing. Who do you aspire to be? Imagine the ideal you that you aspire to be. What has she accomplished in 1 year? What about in 5 years? 10 years? What does a typical day in her life look like?
The key here is to really get into the weeds of the details. What does that day look like and feel like? Sit down with zero distractions around you and just daydream about this for 10 minutes. Really feel the feelings that ideal you would feel on a daily basis. Visualize it all week! Don’t be afraid to change things, either! That’s what this entire week is for- perfect this “ideal you”!
Once you’ve meditated on this for a few days, write it down! Write out every single detail of how it feels and why this ideal version of you is who you want to be.
Work on perfecting this version of you that you want to be and what her feelings are and daily actions are this week. Write down the details as many times as you want, but definitely meditate on it or visualize it every day for at least 5 minutes. The more you focus on it, the easier the next year will be!
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
Be grateful for your life as it is now. Fall in love with your life and your routine. If that means romanticizing something like your morning cup of coffee, or lighting a candle while you get ready for bed or get ready for the day, do those things. Never stop appreciating where you are and how you got there, and never stop appreciating your family and your friends.
Things only get better when you appreciate what you already have.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
I got some adorable Ugg slippers for Christmas last year and I’ve been wearing them around the house a lot lately. I love Uggs and I always have!
I’ve also been living in my 28” align leggings because they cover my ankles and honestly my house is pretty chilly most of the winter. I’m not a big heat person because it makes me stuffy and makes everything super staticky so I only keep my heat on 68!
I went to a wedding last weekend and wore this gorgeous dress that I got from Amazon- it’s what I’m wearing in the main photo for this post. It was only $40 and it’s such great quality I honestly didn’t expect it to be so nice from Amazon! I got compliments all night and it fit amazing.

Books I’m Loving
I’m almost done with Atomic Habits! I have about 2 chapters left but I’m definitely going to finish this week because I’m so close to the ending. I’ve been reading it for months because I’ve been reading other books at the same time so it’s taken me longer than usual.
Anything Else I have to tell you!
I’ve been trying out the IPL hair removal device I bought myself on Black Friday sale and I’ll be sharing updates in a few months. It’s still $50 so you can try it out too! I researched IPL for weeks before choosing this model but it seems to be the best bang for your buck and also one of the most effective and strongest IPL devices on the market!
