Productivity Tip of the Week
Self-discipline: it’s something I’ve been trying so hard to get better with. I’m way too good at telling myself “no worries, just do what makes you feel good in the moment and if you don’t want to workout, you don’t need to force yourself”. And yes, to a certain extent, don’t force yourself if you really can’t bring yourself to. But it’s gotten way out of hand for me… (continued in the next section)…
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
I am trying to get out of bed when my alarm goes off- I am currently in a terrible habit of getting all the way in my bathroom, which is where I keep my phone at night. My thought was (and it worked for a while) if my phone was in the bathroom where I lay out my gym clothes, I have to get up and turn my alarm off in there as well. So that way, I’ll already be in the bathroom, so I might as well stay up! However, I’ve gotten SO bad that now I get to the bathroom, turn my alarm off, and crawl right back in the bed! It’s terrible, y’all. So- I’m just going to try to remember what makes me happy. Working out in the mornings and having a productive start to my day always makes me happy and makes me feel great all day. I need to remind myself of that in the mornings and honestly guys- it comes down to self discipline. Something else I need to work on!
Jewelry of the Week
I’ve been wearing these tried and true gold hoops from Amazon this past week to work and after work- I have both pairs and they have never tarnished. The best part is they are super lightweight. I’ve also been wearing the 3-stud post earrings in my cartilage piercing and I love the way it looks when I have my hair up. The 3 pack of gold beaded bracelets were also a favorite this week because they are so easy to throw on and style. Lastly, my amazon bracelet is a total David Yurman inspired piece, and a co-worker threw a fit over how pretty it is in person!
Outfit Favorites of the Week
These Free People Movement shorts are my favorites lately to go on walks and work out in- I have only been reaching for these because I love how supportive the waistband is on my core. Also linking my latest Fall Abercrombie order- I have a YouTube video try on coming next week!!

Books I’m Loving
I’m trying to get through the Why We Sleep book so I can give it to my mom- she’s interested in reading it and I highly suggest it to anyone! I have learned SO much about sleep and how important it is- and I’m surprised we don’t learn more about the importance of sleep in school health classes.
Anything Else I have to tell you!
Motivation and inspiration definitely ebbs and flows. I’ve been feeling so off lately and I’m finally coming back to my “normal” self. I actually want to create videos, and take outfit photos and create outfits. It feels good and it was hard the last few weeks to give myself a true creative rest, but now I feel so good and better than ever.
Don’t worry about feeling like you’re not motivated for a week or two. You can’t go, go, go, go with no exhaustion and recourse. So give yourself a break and enjoy the downtime so that when inspiration hits, you’re excited and ready to go!
