Weekly Happenings- January 12

Productivity Tip of the Week

How are your first two weeks of 2022 going?? I hope you are being kind to yourself and also crushing your goals!

If you’ve already fallen short of some goals, don’t beat yourself up! That’s the worst thing you could do to make this year your best year yet.  Remember- it’s about the smaller, consistent habits over the larger habits that you give up on a few weeks in.  It’s okay if your productivity ebbs and flows- make your daily habits small enough that each day you feel like you can do them, but big enough to make an impact on your life and your goals for 2022.

Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week

If you’ve fallen off some goals already, maybe re-evaluate why they are a goal in the first place.  I have stuck to my goals so far because I did the work back in December to figure out what goals were important to me.  Because all of my daily habits and my goals are important to me, I have found it pretty easy to stick to every single day.

I want your goals to be like that too! And, if you just now thought of a 2022 goal, go ahead and start! It’s only in your head that a “fresh start” must be on the first day of a new year.  The positive change that will come in your life from daily habits and your goals won’t know the difference between starting January 12 and January 1.

Outfit Favorites of the Week

Align leggings and my Bombas gripper slippers have been a daily outfit for me lately- I’ve been so good about my routine that I just wake up and put on my workout clothes.  This way, when I have some time to do my workout, I don’t need to change into another outfit.

I’m also shopping around for something huge… stay tuned because they will probably be delivered and featured in next week’s post!

Books I’m Loving

I’m on book 4 of the After series and loving it.  I also purchased 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do, but I haven’t read any of it yet.  My goal for 2022 is to read 30 books! I really think I can do it because I have really enjoyed the wind-down time of reading a book!

Anything Else I have to tell you!

I’m really excited to tell you guys what I bought next week :)

Xoxo, Jess
