Snow Day Video:
Productivity Tip of the Week
Have a solid morning routine- and put some makeup on! Even if I’m not leaving the house all day, I always wash my face as soon as I wake up. I will at least do my skincare routine on the few days I don’t wear any makeup at all, but most mornings I groom my eyebrows using a styling soap and I put on some mascara and concealer. I do this because it just automatically makes me feel more productive and inspired. Also- make your bed every morning as soon as you get up! This will make you feel more put together as well, and it definitely has a lot to do with when I am more motivated to get things crossed off my to-do list. When my room and my house is orderly, I feel more orderly in my mind and it’s easier to get motivated.
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
Don’t give up! Each day is a brand new start to a new goal you have in mind. Don’t waste another day you’ve been gifted waiting for the “right time” because there isn’t going to be!
I wanted to share that my biggest setback when it comes to goal setting is thinking that my efforts on day one are not “big enough” to make a difference. It’s taken a while to get over that mindset, and the way I did that is to just do a minimal amount every day. When I realized that setting a tiny goal each day that didn’t seem to make a difference, I got way further in my goals after a week and even further after a month, teaching me a valuable lesson; the smaller, seemingly insignificant habits every day add up to the biggest life changes and are the secret to meeting your largest goals.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
Last week I mentioned I made a very large purchase and I announced it on my Instagram feed! Here’s the ASMR reel:
I LOVE THEM. I’m linking the blog post I made here, and expect a YouTube video that goes into detail about why I purchased them soon.

Books I’m Loving
We had a snow storm this weekend and I was off work for MLK day, and I literally ready for 4 days straight. I don’t know how to see just how many hours I read on my Kindle this weekend, but I’m already on my 5th book of the year and it’s only 1/18! I’ve been such a book nerd lately like I used to be when I was younger and it feels so good. I feel my vocabulary and my grammar already improving because I swear I lost a lot of intellect when I neglected reading for fun and instead used all my free time up on TikTok and Instagram, so I feel better about spending time reading!
I finished the After series and honestly I’m glad it’s over. I really enjoyed it, but 5 books of the same couple and their issues and their sex life got pretty old. I recommend it only if you’re comfortable with steamy novels but it’s pretty graphic lol.
I also read Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover and OH MY GOODNESS. I cried at the end, and I read the whole 333 page novel in 2 days flat. It’s one of the best novels I’ve ever read! I’m looking forward to reading more of her novels in the coming months.
Now, I’m reading book 1 of 3 of “The Miles High Club” which is also super steamy. I also don’t recommend unless you’re comfortable with the graphic scenes and this is legit borderline pornographic which honestly is a little too much for me haha but it’s fun to read!
Anything Else I have to tell you!
My “ONE Thing” (I read the book The ONE Thing- HIGHLY recommend!) this year is my YouTube channel- be sure to subscribe here to my channel to support me there! My goal is to reach 4k subscribers by the end of 2022 and I’m posting a video every single Monday at 5:30 pm EST.
