Weekly Happenings- February 9
Productivity Tip of the Week
Set your alarm for 15 minutes earlier than you need to get up- and keep your phone on the other side of the room if you’re like me and find it hard to get out of bed. When you get out of bed, stay out of bed, and immediately meditate. Ironically, I find that clearing my mind for 10 minutes before I start my day wakes me up more than just getting straight into a routine.
If meditation isn’t something you want to do yet, I totally get it- just stay out of bed and focus on your goals first thing in the morning and focus on showing gratitude that you have another day to live and be your best self!
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
I strongly encourage you to try out meditation first thing in the morning. It’s not “hard” it’s just not something most of us are used to. I also recommend journaling first thing in the morning. It’s a great way to start your day slow with a cup of coffee if you prefer, and sets the tone for your entire day.
The mornings when I don’t do these things, those days turn out to be more stressful. When I meditate and journal that morning, I somehow stay calmer all day no matter what happens.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
Last week I mentioned my Golden Goose sneakers and my Lululemon Define jacket- both are making it to the list! I’m also adding my Abercrombie puffer because it’s been colder here and I’ve been wearing it non stop this past week.

Books I’m Loving
I’m officially on my 11th book…. yeah no joke. I’ve been in love with my reading time because I can take my mind off of everything else! I just finished “Reminders of Him” by Colleen Hoover and I enjoyed it, but I only rated it 7/10 because it took a while to get into. I am now reading “Things We Never Got Over” by Lucy Score and I’m already obsessed! I can’t put it down and I’m super intrigued. It’s also a longer novel, which I love.
Anything Else I have to tell you!
I just purchased a bunch of new skincare that I’m testing out this week- I’ll keep you updated next week on my thoughts, but here’s my Sephora haul:
