Wedding Dress Shopping
On January 11, I took my mom, my fiancé’s mom, my aunt, and my fiancé’s, aunt all wedding dress shopping with me and we had a BLAST. This day was a day I’ve always dreamed of- and I wanted to create a video to show the process on that day!
I explain everything in my vlog so please watch that too- but I went to 2 places and the first dress I tried on was the one I bought. It was also double my budget that I set for myself- so I was going to choose another that was in my price range, and then the wonderful women who went with me talked me into getting my dream dress with their help.
I obviously don’t show the dress I chose in this video, but I kept all the audio from when I had it on to remember everyone’s reactions. It was the only dress that made me cry, and it made Mack’s mom cry too which was so sweet. The dress is being made in my size currently, and I go back to try it on for alterations in June and I am SO EXCITED.
The second place we went to was honestly just to do it because- I knew in my heart I had already found my dream dress. After we left the second try on, we went to lunch together and they asked which one I was going to choose. I was between two from the first place, but I knew the only reason I would choose another dress was to save money. My mom offered to help fill in the gap between my budget and the dress, and Mack’s mom revealed that they are paying for the entire bar service at my wedding, so I should be able to get the dress I’ve always dreamed of.
I am SO blessed and SO thankful for the ladies in my life who made this day so special for me, and beyond thankful for my mom and dad for helping fund my dreams when they definitely don’t have to. Now it’s so much more than just a wedding dress- it’s the dream dress I’ve always wanted made possible by the families who love me most.
