Productivity Tip of the Week
I’ve been so much better this week at time blocking and being more productive doing what I need to be doing.
Also, on Monday 10/4, Instagram and Facebook went down for 6 hours and it had a real effect on me. First, I realized how habitual me being on Instagram has gotten. I would open my phone and instinctively tap on the Instagram logo, without even thinking. I’m ashamed to say it happened a few times almost every hour while the outage was going on. I felt so much more productive and got so much more done that I usually would at home, and I was more active! Instagram wasn’t distracting me from starting my workouts or finishing my YouTube videos, and I am even writing this post a day earlier than I usually would!
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
This week, I have a homework assignment for you. Think about your typical day, and think about if you are actually getting everything you want done. I certainly am not on a typical day, and I learned today (although I always knew what it was) that it is because I waste way too much time on Instagram.
Once you’ve identified your triggers or the thing that holds you back, I want you to put your mind to it and stop doing that/those thing(s) for just a week. Just one week of not distracting yourself and see how much better you feel next week.
I’m going to do it too. Starting today, I’m limiting my time on social media. I’m going to start taking more photos and videos on my camera roll, and uploading them all on Instagram during set time blocks for social media each day.
Jewelry of the Week
I received the replacements from my Etsy order of these infinity hoops made out of 14k gold. They are 7mm and 22 gauge, which is thinner than traditional earring posts, and they are so adorable in. I love them because I can shower and sleep with them in, and they won’t tarnish or hurt my ears while sleeping. And no surprise here, I’m linking my favorite Kendra Scott collection, the Jack collection.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
Last week I linked my Lululemon orders from my gift cards, and I just received them in the mail today! I also ordered this sports bra which is my new favorite thing that Lululemon makes. It’s incredible, and does not have removable pads (thank the LORD) because I HATE un folding them or removing/adding them back after every wash! It is so soft and comfy I actually feel like I’m not wearing anything, but still has light support!

Books I’m Loving
I finished “Why We Sleep” and gave it to my mom to start reading- I learned SO much from that book and I highly recommend everyone read it, especially if you have kids! I really did not understand how important sleep was, and from my experiences, I don’t know anyone else who really understand how important it is either- and better yet, why it’s so important! This is a truly education and fascinating read and taught me so much.
I have a goal to finish “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” this week, and then I’ll be on to reading “Modern Mindfulness” and a real estate investing book.

I’m almost done with my closet purge! I’ve been working on the YouTube video, and I’ve only one box left of fall clothes to go through! So far, everything is fitting in my closet with room to spare and I am so happy with it.
