Productivity Tip of the Week
Last week, I discussed the idea of time blocking, where you dedicate chunks of time to your most important tasks and guess who has SUCKED at doing that?! THIS GIRL. In all fairness though, I am on day 2 of my brand new work from home job so I am training on zoom calls non-stop and learning multiple new systems for financial operations… so I’m trying to give myself some grace.
BUT with that being said, I have made it a priority to stick to my workout time block of 55 minutes, and here is what that includes:
15 minutes walking or running (treadmill or outside with the dog, and I aim for at least a mile, although my record from the past few months is .5 miles running non-stop)
20 minutes strength training
10 minutes stretching/yoga
10 minute meditation
I recommend that you give that format a try for your morning or evening or whenever you feel best to stick in that hour dedication to your mental, physical and emotional health and well-being!
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
Don’t look at your phone first thing in the morning. I have recently gotten back into the terrible habit of scrolling through social media first thing in the morning before my workout time block or my meditation, and it has no doubt caused my anxiety to sky rocket.
Don’t compare yourself to others, especially first thing in the morning.

Mack and I have been doing this every year for my birthday since we started dating, and this year I finally completed the “Jack” collection by getting the earrings. I now have the hoop earrings (they also have huggie hoops!), the bracelet, and the ring and it is my favorite matching jewelry set.
I also got this ring from Amazon that I have had “saved for later” in my Amazon cart for MONTHS and finally ordered it. It is absolutely STUNNING in person. So much so that my mom got one as well!
Outfit Favorites of the Week
Surprise surprise, still living in this Lululemon “All Yours Tee Dress” which I own in Spiced Chai. And since I’ve been enjoying slower mornings due to taking the week completely off last week and now working from home, this barefoot dreams robe has been my go-to in the mornings and evenings. My mom got this for me as part of a wedding gift and it is SO incredibly soft and cozy!

Sadly I had to pick and choose what the heck I can accomplish this week. My next video is the vegetarian week of meals, and it’s almost fully edited but I have to give myself more grace and I am skipping this week since it’s been my first full week at my new job and I am exhausted.
Books I’m Loving
I am still re-reading “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck”, and I’m doing a lot more Sudoku puzzles lately! I recently found a big book of a ton of them when I was organizing my new office last week, and I’ve been doing 3-5 every day.
