Weekly Happenings- March 27
Productivity Tip of the Week
Stay in your lane. Something I’ve been working on- but take note of what makes you happy and stick to doing that thing every day if you can. I feel more productive when I stick to the morning routine that I love and when I am kind to myself. When I visit other peoples’ lanes, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m not as good as them, and it makes me less productive because I almost feel like “what’s the point”.
Motivational/Inspirational Message of the Week
You don’t need to be productive every single day. That’s why this post is about your entire week as a whole. What I want you to focus on going into the second week of spring is focusing on your goals and what makes you feel motivated and inspired. I feel inspired when I workout and when I spend time outside. I feel motivated when I am meeting my goals and really trying my best. Figure out what it is that makes you feel inspired and motivated and focus on doing that every day that you can. And if you miss a few days, that’s life. You just pick yourself up and keep moving forward as best you can.
Outfit Favorites of the Week
Going into Spring, I’ve been loving my Golden Goose sneakers even more because it has really simplified my wardrobe. The outfits are limitless with these sneakers and they really have made getting dressed so much easier. I’ve been really into buying dresses too, because that’s an area in my closet I want to expand. I recently went into Kohl’s to return an Amazon package since our local Kohl’s store is an Amazon return center as well, and walked out with a Lauren Conrad straw hat and dress. I’m linking them below, but they have such great sales and deals and Lauren Conrad’s line is such high quality!

Books I’m Loving
I’m still reading the 8 part series from Lucy Score called Blue Moon and I’m loving it so far. It’s 8 novels, all over 300 pages and super cute, light books to read. I finished book 1 “No More Secrets (Blue Moon Book 1)” this week and gave it 7/10. I read the 2n’d book and finished it last week, so I’m now on the 3rd book, “The Last Second Chance”. I like the 3rd so far more than the second.
Anything Else I have to tell you!
Last week I mentioned I may not meet my March 10 mile run goal- but I really think I’ll be able to do it! I’ve been pulling 2-a-days and I’ve run 1 mile straight multiple times which is something I was unable to do in January. I’m almost there and I hope next week i can say I did it and met my 10 mile run goal for March!
Xoxo, Jess
